This is the office. A beautifully decorated, magnificently lit space with a welcoming color pallet and awesome photography. I love this place. It feels like I am working from my apartment (future apartment that is). Myself and the three other full immersion interns work from 9-5 every day, but time flies by so fast! We have endless tasks to do and people to meet with. By the end of the day we all feel so accomplished! Constant visitors keep the place full of energy and conversation. What an awesome place to work! It certainly didn't always look this way! It used to be an old lawn mower shop before we moved in. There were heavy shop lights hanging everywhere and all the walls were an off white color. But after painting, hanging photographs, and adding some furniture to the place, it's not so bad!

BAPTISMAL CONTRASTS BY STEVE FINNELL
ReplyDeleteAre there contradictions in what is said about baptism between the men in the Bible and what the faith only advocates declare?
BAPTISMAL CONTRASTS EXPOSED.
1. Jesus said, "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved..."(Mark 16:16)
Faith only advocates declare, "He who believes shall be saved and then shall be baptized."
2. Ananias said, "...Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)
Faith only proponents proclaim, "Saul had had his sins forgiven three days prior on the road to Damascus, the very minute he believed in Jesus."(The real question is why do men make statements that can be proved false by simply reading the Biblical accounts of Saul's conversion.)(Acts 9:1-18, Acts 22:1-16) Saul's sin were forgiven in Damascus, not on the road to Damascus.
3. The apostle Peter said, "There is also an antitype which now saves us, namely baptism....(1 Peter 3:21)
Faith only defenders profess that water baptism has nothing to do with salvation.
4.The apostle Peter said, "....and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins..."(Acts 2:38)
The champions of faith only doctrine say be baptized because your sins have already been forgiven.
5. Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
Faith only interpreters say Jesus was actually saying, "unless one is born of amniotic fluid and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."(The question remains, why would Jesus say men have to exist in order to be saved? Existence is self evident. Of course men who were never born of the flesh could ever be saved, because they never lived.)
If the Biblical accounts of water baptism are antithetical to what is found in church creed books, other extra-Biblical books, and what you have been taught all your life, what are you going to believe?
TWO CHOICES, GOD's REVELATION TO MANKIND OR MAN'S REVELATION TO HIMSELF?
(Scripture: NKJV)
